I am hoping someone could help be out with the following paragraph; if this supports CPT 31256. I am getting conflicting information.

"A 30 degree rigid endoscope was used to perform a nasal endoscopy. There was purulent drainage seen from the left middle meatus. Additional local was injected into the left middle turbinate and uncinate. The left middle turbinate was somewhat polypoid and the uncinate was edematous/friable and pushed medially. A back biter was used to incise the inferior aspect of the uncinate. The microdebrider with the tricut blade was used to remove the uncinate and majority of the left middle turbinate. Irrigation was used in the left maxillary sinus."

I am more used to reading the maxillary sinus was entered. The antrostomy was completed using the microdebrider and backbiter, etc

Thank you for your time,
