I'm looking for a DX to link to injection/tattoo to an area of the colon.
Right now, the providers I am coding for often use it to mark an area to keep an eye on that may need more investigation or possible surgery later down the road. Often this happens after the removal of a polyp. I would rather not use the polyp DX as the tattoo is not pointing to the polyp, but rather the tissue around the polyp.
Any suggestions?
