Hello,
Can 58605 be billed on the same date of service as a vaginal delivery? This code is stated as a "separate procedure" in the CPT book.
We all know what "separate procedure" means. However, the descriptor states postpartum.

Ligation or transection of fallopian tube(s), abdominal or vaginal approach, postpartum, unilateral or bilateral, during same hospitalization (separate procedure)

TIA

Yes, it can be billed same day. It is usually performed at a separate session than the delivery anyway
