Good morning,

I have a case where the mother gave birth at home and taken to the hospital afterwards. She was sent to labor and delivery where she delivered the placenta. My question is if she passed the placenta on her own, can I still bill for 59414? It seems to me that we cannot since the physician didn't apply any pressure or used the umbilical cord to guide it out.

Any help or guidance is appreciated.
