Is there a new ICD-9 code for CPT 90698 (Pentacel: DTap - Hib - IPV) Vaccine? We have been using V06.8, but have been receiving rejections stating that we need to use a mor specific code.... Is any aware of the revised/new code?

Pentacel code 90698 needs to have two ICD-9 codes used when it is submitted. Codes V06.3 and V03.81 are used for Pentacel. These are the codes that I have always used and we do get reimbursed. I hope this helps.
