90714 was charged on general exam but this is getting denied stating that the Z codes will not cover this procedure for Td. Can someone please tell me if there is something else I need to do to get this covered. Thanks! This is commercial insurance. Still need help! Thanks!

The CDC does not have limitations on Td immunizations. As long as it was administered to a patient age 7+ it should be covered with a diagnosis of Z23. If commercial insurance is denying it, I would suggest contacting insurance directly to find out why.
