Has anyone billed this along with a well visit CPT 99394 and the well visit get denied due to them saying CPT 96127 is a preventative code and the patient can only have one well visit a year? Billed with F41.9 and paid in February, allowed $7.50 then billed again in August with a well visit/yearly physical, yearly physical billed with Z00.129 and 96127 billed again with F41.9, insurance paid the 96127 in February and then denied both the CPT 96127 and 99394 in August as already meeting the yearly allowable and now putting the entire visit on the patient? Patient only had sick visits prior to this, no other well visits that year.
