Can this code be used with E/M code?
 
If other issues were addressed during the visit to warrant a separate E&M visit, then yes. If the patient was a new patient and the physician had to do a complete assessment, then determined that a nail matrixectomy was needed, then yes. May need a 25 modifier on the E&M visit as well.
