I do have a question regarding the cpt code 49650(Laparoscopy, surgical; repair initial inguinal hernia)-this code does not state if it is for incarcerated or not. Would this code be used for both Laproscopic inguinal hernia & Laparoscopic incarcerated inguinal hernia? I have been told it is for both? :confused:
