hello. I have a provider that wants to bill 90785 with an E/M code with out cpt code 90833. She believes that its strange that she can only use the 90785 with added code 90833 when she has interactive complexity in medication management such as calling parents with interpreter even if she does not do therapy that day. I need an advice. I have explained so many ways but she does not understand
 
I found this under 90785 description: 1764545981150.png that tells me that we can use 90785 only with these CPTs. 'Do not report this code with E/M services provided without psychotherapy."
