Hi need help with after hours care.
CPT code 99051- Service(s) provided in the office during regularly scheduled evening, weekend, or holiday office hours, in addition to basic service . is there a general hour range like 9-5 or depends on each individual practice scheduled hours?

I always tell people that evening is after 5pm. So few insurances pay this code, or pay $5 or so, that it's not something I would spend time appealing and fighting for. It would be a bonus to get it.

"Service(s) provided in the office during regularly scheduled evening..." Evening is after 5pm. It doesn't say "after regular hours" - that is a different code.
