Hello all,
I wonder if you can help me and another coder with our question about which cpt code to use for direct cortical motor evoked potentials used to remove a brain mass. My co-worker says 95939 should be used (for both upper and lower limbs). I say the 95999 should be used since it is not transcranial stimulation and there is nothing really listed in the CPT index for the dcMEP. What are your thoughts? Thanks in advance!
