Hi-
I have a CPT question. My pathologist did a frozen on an appendix. The pathology diagnosis is "Mucinous cystadenoma. (mucinous borderline tumor of the appendix)

When looking through the CPT code book we could only find cpt 88304. It seems as though the code should be a higher code, however I cannot find anything. Would you please advise on this or direct me to a different code. Tumor is benign. Thanks so much for your assistance.
