Our physician performed a creation of shunt; ventriculo-peritoneal, -pleural, other terminus(62223) and also reprogrammed a prior shunt in the lumbar peritoneal area(62252). Can he code both due to they are not in the same area? The CCI edits state to never code 62223 and 62252 together. Can someone please help me with coding? Thank you so much! You're help is greatly appreciated..
