Is anyone seeing denials from Medicare for 99291 being denied in POS 20, per CPT it states regardless of the location.
 
Have you appealed with documentation?

I work in pediatrics, so don't usually deal with medicare.

However ... have you appealed with the documentation?

Our trauma surgeons will occasionally - that is not regularly use the critical care codes for patients seen in the ER. We don't have any problems getting paid.
