I am new to CRNA anesthesia coding. I bill for the CRNAs which are hospital employed. The Anesthesiologist are Not hospital employed. The Anesthesiologist does the Labor Epidural (01967) and the Anesthesiologist Supervises the CRNA for the C-Section (01968). My question is due to 01968 being an add on code I bill this as 01967, 01968-QX. Does the 01967 need a modifier since I am only using it as a place holder (I've been getting rejections on this)?
