I donot code for anesthesia but was asked a question by the surgeon that I work for -
If he performs a procedure in the office setting and the CRNA performs the anesthesia and the surgeon performs the procedure can we bill for the anesthesia - and where would I find info on this

The anesthesia services would have to be billed under the CRNA's name and NPI. A surgeon cannot perform or report the surgery and the anesthesia services together.
