Does anyone out there bill for a CRNFA? How do you handle cases in which there is a Medicare patient since they cannot get a Meidcare provider number? We bill commercial insurance and get paid, but we are experiencing an increasing number of Medicare patients and are unsure of what to do with those. Can the patient's be billed directly since Medicare does not recognize this provider type?
