Does anyone have any information on if a Crohn's Dx code should change from visit to visit. I ask this because if the prior auth. for a biologic is completed using Crohn's disease, lg intestine w/ fistula but at a future visit Pt's fistula is resolved do we need to change Dx to Crohn's, lg intestine, no complications? And would we then have to complete new prior authorizations each time symptoms change? Or would it be safe to say that we Dx them based of if they have EVER had complications with the Crohn's? Would appreciate any thoughts, Thanks!
