Has anyone seen cryoablation billed with either rib ORIF or rib ORIF and chest wall reconstruction and it got paid? Does anyone know if most insurance companies consider this part of the global surgery package for pain control? I have a physician who is saying it's not included, and he is adamant that we bill for it, and per code correct it's not bundled. However, I have someone else saying it's considered part of the global package for anesthetic management. Cryo is not anesthetic though. Thoughts?
