Hi. My surgeon performed a cryofreeze ablation of the intercostal nerves following a re-do thoracotomy, wedge resection x2 and middle lobectomy. Has anyone encountered this procedure and is there a CPT code for it? Appreciate any input.
 
intercostal nerve block isn't separately billable during thoracotomy. our physicians usually perform it but don't document it because it is included in the main procedure code.
