Hi I'm an ASC Coder and we had a pt who had a Carpal Tunnel performed done the same day as a 2 level Lumbar Transforaminal injection. I know these are bundeled, but I checked the NCCI Outpt edits for this & it had the 1 indicator. So I thought I could use a 59 modifier. I coded this back when I was just starting out and I guess this is coming back to haunt me. MCR paid for the CTR & the 2nd level ESI, but not for the 1st level??? Could someone explain to me what I did wrong here.
