Hi everyone!
I have an SLP who is providing caregiver training services for the parents of a child with autism and speech and language developmental delays. We know the codes, but from a documentation standpoint, would just the provider stating that education was provided regarding the nature and implications of the findings and the clinician provided the caregivers with strategies to use at home to functionally support speech and language production be enough to support billing the codes? Shouldn't there be more detail on what specific type of training was provided? Thanks.
