Does a curettage of a bx proven SCC fall under a destruction or shave excision code?
 
I'd consider it destruction. Per the CPT desk reference: "Destruction may be accomplished by using a laser or electrocautery to burn the lesion, cryotherapy to freeze the lesion, chemicals to destroy the lesion, or surgical curettement to remove the lesion. "
