Just got done reading great article in Feb 2013 issue of Cutting Edge. Under the section in the article "Know What's Included" there was no mention of pre-meds. We give patients pre-meds of Acetaminophen & Fexofenadine and I was always under the impression that we could not bill for these pre-meds as they are part of the infusion. There is no mention in the article about what the guidelines are for pre-meds. Are these included in admin fee or can they be billed separately?
