I would like to know if a cysto is billable in the surgery global period of a TURP. The situation usually is that a patient has bleeding. My gut says it is global, but after reading the CMS Global Surgery Fact Sheet, I kind of wonder if this falls under the diagnostic section that is billable in the global period. If so, what modifier would I use; -58 or -79?
