Coding for a cystoprostatectomy can be looked at differently.

I have noticed that in past forums you are recommending the Pathology Service Manual.

In that manual it is clear that both the prostate and the bladder can be coded separately, even if in 1 container.

My compliance officer is insisting that only one code can be charged because the bladder and the prostate are bundled as 1 specimen.

Besides the Pathology Service Manual, where else can I look for confirmation one way or the other?
