A pt comes in for cytotec placement the day prior to IUD insertion. Is it correct to bill an E/M code for the cytotec placement. I haven't been able to find anything about it being included in the global for IUD insertion. It is not the norm to have this placed prior to IUD insertion. Appreciate any thoughts on this.:)
