Hello!
I hate seeing this code but I do see it a lot, does the provider need to tell us what the 'other' is? I mean it seems like they should have to. I just want to know the actual guidance on it. If any condition is listed that could potentially be a cause of the thrombophilia we pick up D68.69. Also we don't require a treatment plan or support as long as the patient has the underlying condition the 'other' thrombophilia is supported. Is other thrombophilia more like a status code and is the reason why we don't need support or why we don't need to know what the other is?
