is it possible to bill a Px as laparoscopic when using the Da Vinci or is there a code specifically for it that I'm missing :confused:
 
Bill the usual procedure code, and add on S2900, the HCPCS code for "Surgical techniques requiring the use of robotic surgical system (list in addition to code for primary procedure)". It's a non-covered code, and basically informational only, so I recommend you plan on writing it off, but at least if you submit it, it lets your payer know you're using it.
