We are treating a patient who had a temporary epidural cath put in place. The cath was placed in our office (CPT 62319) and the patient needed to come back twice per day for a bolus of medication. How do I code the two visits each day to the office. One CPC stated use code 01996, but this was not done in the hospital but in our office. Depending on the code that is used, do we use units for the two visits per day. Thanks.... Aa
