Hi All,

This mighrt sound dump question .

Under amount and /or Complexity of Data reviwed there is
1) Decision to obtain old records and/or obtain history from someone other than patient--1 Point
2) Review and summarization of old records and/or obtain history from someone other than patient and/or discussion of case with another health care provider--2 Points.
I beleive 1 point is to for decision to obtain old records and or obtain history from someone other than patient for e.g Nursing home,homw health aid etc.. And provider does not have old records at the time of visit.

2 points are for the records which provider already have at the time of visit.

Please help me understand differnce between 2.
