Does anyone have any suggestions on how to handle dealing with verifying OB benefits and collecting copays/ded.
We are overwhelmed with trying to verify each patient.

We have an OB Specialist who verifies each and every OB patients benefits, give the patient the "estimated" OOP cost which we would like paid by their 7th month of pregnancy. It is very time consuming but pays for itself in the end.
 
OB Verification

We have an assistant that does ALL OB verification. We then contact the patient by mail with the information, meet w/them @ their next OB visit, and collect pmt by the 7th month. It is time consuming, but worth it financially.:)
