New to Ortho!

Can someone tell me when it is ok to bill Debridement with Arthroscopy codes.? Is there some general rule...?

Also, the same question for manipulation.

manipulation if done with a shoulder arthroscopy is always included in all other procedures done. The only way to bill for the manipulation is if it is the only thing done.
 
Thank you. I was kind of seeing that as a patern in the reports being coded.

I'm confused about debridement, however. I can't seem to find a ryhme or reason as to when it is coded vs not coded with arthroscopy codes...?

It seems it is mostly not codes, but found it was coded with 29807 (SLAP)/29826 and also with 29827(RCR), but (but never with 29827 RCR /29826 )...Is there a general rule for this?
