We bill out 97597/97598 debridement codes and just found out that the facility side is not being paid by Medicaid and our scrubber is changing these to a facility E/M on the back end. I am unable to find any proof on the WI Medicaid website that this is correct billing. Have any of you heard or seen anything like this???
