My Dr. performed a Debridement of intraoral wound including mucosa, Subcutaneous tissue, muscle and bone on a patient with mouth cancer. This code 11044 is payable along with the Rhomboid mucosal flap closure he did but I am having trouble finding a dx that will be covered under medicare. We are located in Arizona and the LCD I pull up for this code does not have a dx code realting to the mouth at all. I cant find an appropriate code in the covered dx for open wound of mouth....

Does anyone know a way around this?
