Need advise on debridement of burns. Provider did a debridement of a burn. Documentation states TBA of 3% debridement of bullae with total of 20 square centimeters.
Would this be coded as 16020? Are burns also coded based on depth of layers of skin like code 11042 or are they coded by TBA only?
