Hello,
Has anyone coded for a deep venous arterialization procedure (fistula created between anterior tibial artery and anterior tibial vein which was then stented) in addition to having the superficial femoral artery angioplastied? I can provide additional details upon request. Thank you.

No, this isn't for a creation of a fistula shunt. The pt has PAD, and the physician is trying a last effort to save the patient's limb. He called it a creation of a deep venous arterialization. He created the fistula b/w the anterior tibial artery and vein and placed a stent in the ATA. Have you coded for this procedure? Thank you.
