Can anyone tell me where I can find the guidelines to what constitutes a postpartum bleeding/hemorrhage? I have a mother that had delayed postpartum bleeding which was treated with cytotec rectally, Pitocin and massage. Would that be enough to constitute "hemorrhage" or does there need to be a certain amount of blood loss? Dr does document this in his notes. Thank you.
