We have been following the pt through the pregnancy. She delivered in the ambulance 12 minutes prior to arrival. Doc did an admission note" umbilical cord attached and placenta in situ". She then proceeded to administer pitocin and remove the placenta. My question is can she take the admission and rmval of placenta? This is a medicaid pt. 3 days later she had a tubal. I do not believe that I need to use the modifier. Any help would be appreciated.
