Weird topic I know but I was curious if there are any published requirements as far as obtaining demographics? I require my staff to obtain an updated consent to treat and Hipaa statement once a year. We verbally verify patient address with each visit but I was under to impression that we were required to update the entire demographic packet every 3 years to capture new medical history. Is this correct??
