I was wondering if anyone else is having this issue. I have had two insurance companies state that procedures 28003 and 28825 fall under the 90 day global. When i look in AAPC, novitas and CMS fee schedules, it states its 000 day global. Our biller even called one of the insurance companies and spoke to two different people about CPT 28825 and they said its 90 day.

Am I missing something or not understanding something? any insight would be great!

Either the payer is confused, or they have their own global policies. Commercial payers sometimes do that. Ain't it great? Their online coverage determination should give you some guidance, and they don't necessarily have to follow CMS or even the AMA.
