I'm trying to locate documentation for Virginia that would confirm if the Dentist is required to sign or cosign a Hygienist's note for indirect supervision. I have reviewed the VA site- https://law.lis.virginia.gov/vacodefull/title54.1/chapter27/article3/ but it does not list specifically if the Dentist's signature is needed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
