Good morning All,

I was told in a third party seminar that Medicare doesn’t reimburse for Euflexxa / Synvisc and or Orthovisc when MIXED with Lidocaine and Depo-Medrol. Is this accurate? Usually when my provider for example injects Euflexxa (J7323) mixed with Depo-Medrol (J1030), I only bill for the Euflexxa and not for the depo-medrol. Have I been doing it wrong? On the other hand when Depo-Medrol is injected alone, I do bill it out. Also, I NEVER bill for Lidocaine. Please advise.

Thanks!! :)

If our office injects both medications into the knee our billing would look similar to the below

20610
J7323
J1030

If they're being denied, our denials department isn't telling us.
