Can someone please tell me if I am thinking correctly on the following? Documentation states: Nstemi likely type B No sx, Continue ASA, BB, Statins
Stable, no further w/up needed
Cad/Cabg-no angina
HTN/HLD
Hx DVT/PE-on chronic anticoagulation
ok to discharge from cardiac standpoint
will f/up in 1 month in our office

For MDM, would it be only 1 point for tx of NStemi or can I count 2 as some of the meds he is continuing patient on treats HTN? 0 for amount/complexity data and MC for risk since he is continuing meds which would make this 99213 since patient is OBV status and we were not admitting.

I find this confusing and would REALLY appreciate clarification in determing level of MDM!
