We have some cardiologist who do Programming device evaluation (in person) in our office and are using modifier 26. I am trying to understand why they would use modifier 26 in an office setting, iI thought modifier 26 is not allowed in office setting and on a 1500 claim form.


Can someone assist. Example CPT 93280.
