I was wondering what dx everyone uses for a Dexa on men? The pt is 75 and has Medicare. I tried screening and history of steroid use but Medicare denied. I am just curious how everyone is billing these. Thank you!
 
If it is performed as a screening then that is the code to use. If the reason for the test is the long term use of a drug then use the V58.83 with the V58.6- code for the drug.
