I am getting denials on bone densities (77080) using the N95.1 or N95.8 with a medical necessity denial. I am a little confused by this. I have a clearly documented order with menopausal dx and associated risk factors. Is anyone else having this problem???? Only denials with Medicare so far. Thank you!
