I just want to ask about billing for DM training. Our NP has been doing alot of DM training with our pt, I work at a clinic where all of our pt's have either HIV/AIDS and DM goes hand in hand with alot of the meds that our pt's take. Can we bill for the DM self-management training if she is following the guidelines set up for Diabetic Education. The average time spent is at least 30 mins. Any help would be great my eyes are starting to cross from reading all the CMS manuals.
