I am looking for some guidance on coding Chronic Venous Hypertension Ulcers I87.3 or Varix ulcers I83. in a Diabetic patient. I am only finding I87.2 Chronic venous Insufficiency. Do I really lose the specificity of these ulcers (187.3 & I83.) and code E11.51, Diabetes with PVD, I87.2 Chronic Venous Insufficiency and L97. for the location and severity? Thanks!
